Education and Skills Development Program for Young People in Mejillones (PEC)

The PEC was created to give young people in Mejillones more tools to plan their professional development, strengthening the skills that the new green industries will demand within their own community.

PEC STRUCTURE

The PEC is built on two pillars:

CAREER GUIDANCE TALKS

A program of career guidance talks with Liceo Juan José Latorre Benavente to encourage and guide students toward the fields of knowledge that the NorQuim project, and similar initiatives that may be developed in Mejillones, will require.

Technical and Vocational Education

Advancing the incorporation of specializations linked to the new industries at higher education institutions in the region, along with mechanisms that facilitate access for students from Mejillones.
