With the aim of contributing to the development of sustainable industries in northern Chile, NorQuim has joined H2 Antofagasta, an organization that brings together companies, academic institutions, and stakeholders involved in green hydrogen and its derivatives in the Antofagasta Region.
NorQuim’s participation reflects its interest in joining spaces for technical, institutional, and regional collaboration, in line with the region’s challenges related to productive diversification, energy transition, and industrial value-chain development.
H2 Antofagasta was created to promote the development of green hydrogen and its derivatives in the Antofagasta Region and northern Chile, fostering a collaborative ecosystem involving government, academia, communities, and industry.
In this context, NorQuim seeks to contribute its experience in the chemical industry and through the development of the NorQuim Technological Complex, an initiative in Mejillones focused on producing strategic supplies for copper and lithium mining processes, as well as e-Methanol produced from green hydrogen.
NorQuim appreciates the welcome from H2 Antofagasta and values the opportunity to join a network focused on strengthening regional capabilities and developing new sustainable industries in the Antofagasta Region.
